“We're gonna be doin' one thing and one thing only: killin' Nazis.”

Meet the Basterds: a group of eight Jewish-American soldiers, dropped into Nazi-occupied France to strike terror into the hearts of the Germans. Headed by Lt. Aldo Raine, nicknamed “Aldo the Apache”, the Basterds delight in finding inventive ways to track down and brutally slaughter every Nazi that crosses their path.

On the other frontier, the diabolically clever Col. Hans Landa is scouring the French countryside for Jews in hiding. Living up to his reputation as the “Jew Hunter”, he kills the family Dreyfus, watching as young Shosanna flees, the sole survivor of the massacre.

The stakes get higher when Frederick Zoller, star of the German propaganda film “Nation’s Pride”, pursuades Goebbels to host the premiere at a cinema in Paris. Sensing an opportunity, the Basterds arrive, dressed as Italian cameramen (with an American accent), with an explosive plan to murder the Führer and the leading Nazi officers. Little does anyone know that the cinema owner is, in fact, Shosanna in disguise, who is plotting revenge of her own...

A ridiculously entertaining film with iconic characters. It's not enough to say that Inglourious Basterds is Quentin Tarantino's best movie. It's [...] the film his talent has been promising for more than 15 years. (San Francisco Chronicle)

In 1945 the Nazis went to the moon. In 2018 they are coming back.

In the last few moments of World War II, a secret Nazi operation escaped from the Earth and went into hiding on the dark side of the moon. For the last 70 years, they lived peacefully and undiscovered, constructing a huge armada of spacecraft, aiming to return to Earth one day to deliver peace and enforce their way of living.

When Washington, an American astronaut, lands his space capsule near the Nazi space fortress, he is regarded as a spy of the hostile earthlings. The “Führer” decides that their time to go back to Earth has come. The Fourth Reich must act! He sends the Nazi officers Klaus Adler and Renate Richter to Earth to prepare the invasion.

In the end, when the skies are darkened by the Nazi-UFO-armada, ready to attack the unprepared Earth, everyone has to reconsider their beliefs and find out where their priorities truly lie …

An absurd but hilarious tale with many genuinely first-rate jokes, a truly awesome score by Laibach, an otherwise great selection of songs, likable characters and a surprisingly but effectively sad and unsettling ending. (alienationmentale.wordpress.com)
