Set in 1969, "Bad Times at the El Royale" is about an eclectic group of guests who meet at a mysterious hotel and all have their secrets. Among them are Father Daniel Flynn (Jeff Bridges), a Catholic priest with a hidden agenda, and Laramie Seymour Sullivan (Jon Hamm), an undercover FBI agent on a surveillance assignment. As tensions rise, shocking revelations are made when Sullivan discovers a hidden corridor equipped with one-way mirrors and cameras. In the midst of a botched kidnapping and a search for stolen money, the situation escalates when cult leader Billy Lee (Chris Hemsworth) shows up, leading to chaos and violence. As allegiances shift and trust erodes, the characters are drawn into a web of deceit that tests their morality.
