2. Juni 2022: BlacKkKlansman (Garching, OV: English)

In the beginning of the 1970s the young African-American Ron Stallworth starts his career as the first black detective at the police department in Colorado Springs. After some time, he is assigned as an undercover investigator on case. The police want to find out whether a local black student association is being rallied by the prominent Black Power activist Kwame Ture.

However, after talking to Patrice Dumas, the head of the association, Ron's perspective shifts: the student association is not the dangerous part of today's society  – but the Ku-Klux-Klan is! The police should not inflitrate some young African-Americans meeting up, but rather infiltrate the KKK!

Maybe he can convince the other policemen  – at least his Jewish colleague Filp Zimmer might be on Ron's side. And together they can take matters into their own hands  – as a black man and a Jewish man among white, racist, far right extremists...
