Here comes The Bride

People say it should have been the happiest day in her life but at her wedding, The Bride and former assassin – codename Black Mamba – was shot in the head. Having survived the attempted murder by her former lover Bill and his team of assassins, she awakes from a four-year coma and realizes that she has not only lost her chance of a peaceful future but also the baby she was pregnant with.

Seething with anger, Black Mamba wreaks vengeance on Bill and her former colleagues, the team of assassins who betrayed her. The first names on her list: Vernita Green – who is meanwhile living a peaceful life with her daughter in California – and O-Ren Ishii, the resolute leader of Tokyo’s criminal underworld. However, The Bride knows achieving her goal requires special preparations and there is only one person who can help her …

There’s nothing like a good ole revenge heist (complete with a hit list) to make this film one of Tarantino’s best. (Reel Talk Online)

Delivers on every classic Tarantino brand that you'd come to expect. (fatguysatthemovies.com)

The Bride is back for the final cut

After crossing out two names on her death list, Black Mamba continues her quest of vengeance and goes after Bill’s younger brother Budd and the treacherous, one-eyed Elle Driver. As a seemingly easy target, Budd works as a bouncer in a strip club and lives remotely in his caravan.

Little does The Bride know, that Bill has warned him about her arrival and that it will be Budd who is going to bury her. Will Black Mamba be able to remember the lessons taught by the martial arts master Pai Mei and overcome all obstacles to face her former boss and lover Bill? Will The Bride kill Bill?

Quentin Tarantino revels in the art and craft of cinema; so much so he has managed to mine all his favourite genres and make the style the substance. (Urban Cinefile)
