Belle Reve is the prison with the highest bodycount worldwide. Only the worst criminals and evilest villains are locked up here. There is only one chance to get out of that miserable place: Join the Task Force X. The downside, however, are the missions.
Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Captain Boomerang, Ratcatcher 2, Savant, King Shark, Blackguard, Javelin, Harley Quinn and some others try their luck. They are left on a jungle island called Corto Maltese to fight … well, the enemy. But how can you be sure that the enemy isn’t amongst your group, if you are part of the Suicide Squad?
The Suicide Squad, from Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn, is one of the best superhero movies I’ve seen in years. It’s a foul-mouthed, ultra-violent and absurdly funny action romp that starts with a head-fake and ends with a final showdown that’s somewhere between Godzilla, Cthulhu and just plain absurd.
