It’s an easy life for construction worker Emmet Brickowski, spend every day building all kinds of stuff exactly like the manual says. Like in his favorite song everything is awesome for him, until he stumbles over this strange, beautiful woman searching
Trying to contact her, he falls in a deep hole and finds what she was looking for – the “Piece of Resistance” complete with a vision to it! Now his journey begins to stop the evil lord business plans to destroy all creativity in the Legoworld and wipe out all the master builders. He has to fight now together with the beautiful woman named “Wyldstyle”, Batman and many other heroes to save the Legoworld.
At its core, “The Lego Movie” is an ode to imagination, creativity and busting outside the status quo, so it's wholly fitting that the film itself – from its storytelling through to its superb animation – embodies these qualities beautifully. (FILMINK Australia)
