The island is controlled by James Munroe, a former CIA agent, who has his own special plans. His henchmen discover Barney's team, which narrowly escapes. But their contact person on the island is left behind and captured by Munroe's men. Even though Barney knows that they are in way over their heads, he leads his team back to the island to infiltrate the local dictator's compound and finish the job.
A perfectly enjoyable mercenaries-on-a-mission-of-redemption adventure with a mix of testosterone-fueled camaraderie and this-time-it's-personal seriousness. (seanax.com)
