One Night. Six Friends. Twelve Pubs. Total Annihilation.

Gary King is a man trapped in the past. In his opinion, the days will never be as good as they were back then. And what better way to relive those good times than to get all your high school friends together and reattempt the pub crawl you failed to finish 20 years ago.

The five friends set out to drink a pint at each of the twelve bars in the small town of Newton Haven, ending at the well-known “World’s End” pub. Things get more complicated when Gary gets into a fight with a teenager in the restroom, finally knocking his head off, exposing him as a robot. Gary and his friends don’t let that bother them as they continue anyway to avoid suspicion.

What began as a reminiscence of the past becomes a battle for the future.

This is cheeky British irreverence at its best, and there's even a bit of meaning and moral behind it all if you can see through the laughter. (Detroit News)

It's outrageous satire, bruisingly funny slapstick and – while never too snooty to stoop for lowdown laughs – deliciously smart besides. (Minneapolis Star Tribune)
