| Eigentlich sollte es eine Berichterstattung aus der Reihe "Menschen unserer Stadt" werden. Kandidat der Woche war dieses Mal Volker Henk, der als städtischer Automations-Telekommandeur gewisse Abläufe in der Stadt regelt, von denen man als normaler Bürger ja oft gar keine Ahnung hat. The brilliant, but arrogant neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange is devastated after a car accident leaves him unable to use his hands. He pursues every conceivable option to regain the use of his hands and recapture his former job, but to no avail. Finally
Here, The Ancient One shows him a new reality, and reluctantly agrees to train him and help him learn to unlock its secrets. However, before his training is complete evil threatens not only the Kamar-Taj, but the whole world, and Dr. Strange must overcome his arrogance and use his new-found powers to stand against it. What began as a quest to regain the use of his fingers, turns into so much more for Dr. Strange as he battles his own inner demons and uses all his intelligence, his new abilities and magical artifacts to battle the demons around him.
Doctor Strange is another win for Marvel, and proof that there are some new tricks to be found in superhero movies after all. (Columbus Alive)
