29. Juni 2017: Easy Rider (Open Air, OV)

Billy and Wyatt lead a life of adventure and freedom as freewheeling bikers. After earning some cash by smuggling cocaine from Mexico to Los Angeles in their gas tanks, they stow their earnings in Wyatt’s stars and stripes painted tank. They aim to reach New Orleans in time for the Mardi Gras festivities. Resting at a farmstead after repairing one of the bikes, they share a meal with the farmer, getting a little peak into a different lifestyle with its own little freedoms.

Along the way Wyatt picks up a hitch-hiker, who looks like a hippie. He asks them to visit his commune. Life for the hippies appears to be tough. With city kids struggling to raise crops from poor soil and lack of rain and experience, the Easy Riders witness their prayer for blessing of the hippies’ crops.
