Puss' life began as an orphan, he was found on the doorstep of the orphanage in the small town of San Ricardo. There he became    friends with Humpty Alexander Dumpty. His life moved on and one fateful day he became the hero of San Ricardo. Because of that his mother gave him his boots as a sign of great honor. This stirred up the jealousy of Humpty and after being betrayed by him, Puss now is a wanted criminal trying to clear his name. His only chance for this is to join no other than Humpty and Kitty Softpaws on an adventurous trip, searching for the magic beans.
