25. Juni 2020: Ice Age (Open Air, OV)

20,000 years ago, huge majestic animals populated the globe – well, some less majestic than others. Manfred the grumpy woolly mammoth, Sid the blunt and lazy Sloth, Diego the devious saber-toothed tiger and, of course, Scrat who is seemingly half squirrel half rat, shake up the primeval times.

Scrat has one single purpose in life: to bury an acorn as winter stocks – not an easy endeavor when the ground is completely hard frozen. The other three forementioned animals embark on a more complex journey. They reluctantly take on a quest to return the human child Roshan to its family.

In addition to the fact that the trio is not exactly harmonic, this mission is nowhere near their comfort zone. Moreover, Scrat accidentally triggers an avalanche, and Diego, who recently fell from grace with his pack leader Soto, makes an evil plan to regain his trust.
